CONTACT February 2004 Newsletter for the Parishes of HOLLESLEY ALL SAINTS' & BOYTON with CAPEL From The Rectory, I would like to add my appreciation to Judiths of all who helped make Christmas special and to wish you a happy New Year. It was so very good to see so many at the various services and functions. Now that we have got Christmas behind us we can look forward to Easter. The 25th February is Ash Wednesday marking the beginning of Lent, a time for getting ready for Easter. Lent is a time when we remember that we dont always get things right and very often we make a mess of it. Hands up all who failed to carry through their New Year's resolution, it seems to be built into us, this business of getting it wrong. In Lent we ask God to forgive us our failings and help us renew our lives. I remain yours, For services this month click on February Services You are welcome to join with any of the following:

To all CHILDRENS SOCIETY BOX HOLDERS Thank you to all than people who made my job easier this year by bringing their boxes to my home. It was a tremendous help as there are, to date, 32 of you out there! You have raised a grand total of £487.64. Together with the sponsored walk I did in October we have been able to send a total of £600.64 this year. Thank you on behalf of all the children who will benefit from your kind generosity. Remember - if you know anyone who would like to support the Childrens Society by having a box, please let me know. The more box holders - the more money we can raise.
